Apparently a bit unsettling, but living life on a visa can be a good source of buoyancy. This is even more appropriate for those who were contemplating ‘what’s next’ after completion of their post-graduation.

It’s time to thank the UK Government!

      Guess what?

The Government finally brought a revolutionary scheme for the post-study visa process. They have called for a new visa allowing the aspirant international students to extend their stay after post-graduation.

The primary goal of this service is to streamline the entire visa application process for the overseas student. It took a little longer than the usual, as sometimes; right decisions seek for an extra bit of time.

      What are the good gains?

This new procedure provides a complete win-win situation for the students. Only 4 universities happened to take part in this process in a trial period. They are – Oxford, Imperial College of London, University of Bath and Cambridge.

However, with the official announcement by the UK Home Office, 23 more universities are added on the hat! That’s quite a good progression within a few baby steps.

Note: 27 institutions are in the chart to proffer this latest visa process.

Moreover, premier institutions like University of Bristol & University of Cardiff are also on the list for offering sponsorships to the pupils. Other varsities who are in the same run are as follows:

      1. Goldsmiths University of London
      2. Newcastle University
      3. The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama
      4. Harper Adams University
      5. Queen’s University Belfast
      6. Durham University
      7. University of Cambridge
      8. University of Bath
      9. University of East Anglia
      10. University of Essex
      11. University of Glasgow
      12. University of Edinburgh
      13. University of Exeter
      14. Imperial College London
      15. University of Liverpool
      16. University of Nottingham
      17. University of Reading
      18. University of Leicester
      19. University of Manchester
      20. University of Oxford
      21. University of Sheffield
      22. University of Wales Trinity St. David (Swansea Campus)
      23. University of York
      24. University of Southampton
      25. University of Warwick

Applying in these institutes is not rocket science — all it needs is a little research and trick to apply for a post-study visa in the UK.

Now, check out these relevant benefits:

      • Simplicity at its best

Life is not always simple and especially when it comes to visa!

However, this time, it’s all simple and sweet too; courtesy the Government. They are planning to align to a process that is right to the point. With an undemanding and uncomplicated process, the new scheme is all set to ditch the rigmarole.

Students no more have to deal with the hassle of submitting piles of documents.

      • Switching visa is all facile

Furthermore, the government will provide full assistance for switching the types of visa. As per the decision, there will be an extension of a 6-month period to the students who want to pursue further work in the country. This is indeed a paradigm shift for the talented international students trying their luck here.

This improved post-study visa is a true endeavour putting ambitious immigration policy on a par. With such killing advantages, no wonder the UK is all set to make for an attractive international destination around the globe.

Associate Director of International Recruitment, University of Liverpool, Mr Dan Stephenson already gave a panoramic view of this new change. He feels this move will provide an ROI to the country as the best brains will contribute to its economy. Alongside, this is also a huge consideration to those aspirants who want to leverage their career post studies.

So, staying in the UK even after completing studies is no more an impossible achievement. Those who want to enrich their grey matter more on this part can visit the UK Government official website for immigration rules.
